Libby Mitchell was born in Philadelphia in 1928 and has been creating art for over fifty years. She has a studio in Blue Hill, Maine, a small town in the Northeast of the state, where she lives and works. She is influenced by the New York expressionists and inspired by the Italian Renaissance painters.
